Real titanium. The cutting surface is commercially pure Grade 1 titanium sheet, 99.87% titanium in our lab scan, with no coating, paint, resin or plastic on it.

Is name stamping free?
Yes. Every board bought on surface22.com can be stamped with a name for free: up to 14 letters, numbers, spaces, & or -. We check every name by hand before it's punched.
What is the 30-minute name photo?
When you check out on surface22.com, type the name you want stamped and your email. Between 6 AM and 11 PM Pacific, we stamp that name into real titanium and email you a photo within 30 minutes. If it takes longer, you get $10 off your board when you order within 7 days. One per person. Requests outside those hours are answered when we open, without the 30-minute promise.
Which size should I get?
Medium is 13.8 × 11 in. Large is 17.5 × 11.7 in. The Prep Pair is one of each, with a name on each board, and saves $10. Not sure? Take the 3-minute fit quiz.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is free to the US and Puerto Rico. Canada is a flat $19.99. Orders ship the next business day, with tracking by email.
Can I return it?
Unstamped boards have a 14-day return window. Boards stamped with a name are made for you, so they're final sale unless the stamp isn't right. Full details are on our Shipping & Returns page.
How do I clean it?
Hand wash with soap and water, then dry it. It's non-porous, so it doesn't soak up moisture or odors. Dishwasher testing isn't finished, so hand wash for now.
How do I check that my board is genuine?
Every board has its own number and a signed certificate with its own code. Enter both on our verify page to see that board's record.
Is Surface22 a US company?
Yes. Surface22 LLC is based in California, and every board is cut, finished, stamped and assembled by hand in California. The titanium sheet comes from mills in Japan and South Korea.
